Design Validation
Prototype Management – Once the design is complete, Level 3 Systems
can coordinate and manage the prototype builds at one of our partner facilities,
including component procurement and coordination between fabrication and assembly
facilities. Having a design organization coordinate the actual build of the product
helps to eliminate delays when questions or issues arise. It also motivates the
engineering team to involve the manufacturing resources as early in the design process
as possible.
Design Bring-up – Verification of the design against the initial
design requirements is a critical part of the development process. Once the initial
prototypes are built, critical features of the hardware must be tested, and then
re-tested following the integration of the hardware, firmware, and software, to
insure that the finished product meets all of the initial product requirements.
